MUSKEGO — It was a tight-knit affair when Muskego boys tennis hosted conference rival Waukesha West on Tuesday night.

Warriors’ No. 1 Braden Burzynski defeated West’s Bennett Warp 7-5, 6-1 in the headlining singles match. The best match of the night, however, was the No. 2 doubles match. Muskego’s Sam Witkowski and Creighton Hofmeister split the first two sets with Matthew Warnes and Andrew Marien, meaning the match went to a tiebreaker. It was a back-and-forth affair, with Witkowski and Hofmeister eventually taking the tiebreaker 11-9.
