MUKWONAGO — Catholic Memorial’s boys tennis team won all four singles matches and was a third-set tiebreaker away from sweeping Mukwonago, settling for a 6-1 victory in a Classic 8 Conference dual meet Wednesday.

The Crusaders won a tiebreaker of their own at four singles, where Jack Keefner rallied for a 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 triumph. At the top flight, Hayden Latus earned a hard-fought 7-6 (3), 75 win, while both Oliver Milleman at two singles (6-2, 6-4) and Finn Fox at three singles (6-1, 6-1) also won in straight sets.

In one doubles, Nate Carson and Finn Milleman teamed for a 6-3, 6-1 decision, and Caden Visner and Brady Latus won their two doubles bout 6-3, 6-2.

Mukwonago’s No. 3 pairing of Gabe Wiebelhaus and Jon Szatkowski came from behind in the longest match of the dual to win 6-7 (6), 7-6 (4), 10-6.
