To the editor: Woe! Are you seeing an increase of wickedness? People being selfish, greedy, boastful and conceited? Disobedient, ungrateful, unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent, they will hate what is good. They will be treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride. They'll love pleasure rather than God. They will hold to the outward form of religion, but reject its real power.
The hate is driven across America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. In the presence of God there is joy, peace and righteousness. God's not dead. He is surely alive and living on the inside.
The time is coming and is already here when people will not listen to sound doctrine, but follow their own desires and will collect for themselves more and more teachers who will tell them what they are itching to hear.
Families are divided. So many crimes all around. Wow! Let's return to our maker! Seek his face and pray, keeping ourselves in the love of the Lord. Seek peace, pursue his righteousness and all things will be added to you. Trust and obey!
