Beverly Rogers
May 18, 1929 - March 16, 2024
Beverly Rogers passed away March 16, 2024, at the age of 94, in Vermont. She and her late husband, Tom, had resided there for the past 10 years. She was born on May 18, 1929.
After graduating from nursing school in Evanston, Illinois, she continued her education at Carroll College, where she met her future husband. From there, they continued in jobs that involved helping others, both professionally and personally.
Bev, along with her husband, spent a good portion of their life together running the Wisconsin Masonic Home in Dousman. For over 20 years they worked side by side, she as director of nursing, and her husband as administrator. She had many fine memories of those times, along with the lasting friendships she made, especially with her employees there.
Bev is survived by her three children, five grandchildren, and many beloved great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind three of her siblings, losing one sister only a few years ago. She will be greatly missed by all of us, and by those who knew her. We wish to extend a special thank you to her friend and caregiver, Theresa, who made mom’s life brighter and her days full of “living.” She lived a long, full life, surrounded by those she loved most. She looked forward to the day she would join her husband who preceded her in death two years earlier.
Knowing she is at peace in a place she wanted to be is a comfort to us all. We will terribly miss her presence in our lives. Goodbye mom. We love you.
