"ToAD has become one of the most popular race series internationally, earning an outstanding reputation for participant, fan and sponsor experiences. Hosting a premiere race like this demonstrates our support for healthy lifestyles and diversity in our community," said race organizer Todd Bugnacki. "On an individual level, it celebrates role models, goal setting, grit, determination and acceptance of individuals with diverse backgrounds from around the world."

Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Maggie Dobson said that Cedarburg is known for fun, unique events for the whole family.

"The Cedar Creek Classic adds to the list of ways to enjoy our amazing community," she said. Eight to 10 races will be held from late morning until dusk, offering opportunities for juniors as young as nine years old, novices, seasoned master racers, and male and female pros.

One of the day’s highlights will be the Piglet Pedal kids race. Children 4 to 12 years old will have the opportunity to ride the course in a high-energy activity. Participants will be treated to a T-shirt, pig nose, backpack and ice cream.

This year ToAD will host a race within a race. Juniors, 15 to 18 years old, from around the country will race in five ToAD races, starting with the Wilo Cedar Creek Classic, earning points to win the Overall General Classification. Junior race winners will earn an automatic nomination for a 2024 National Team trip.

Simultaneously, the bestplaced 15 to 16 male and female of each national selection race will be invited to attend a USA Cycling European Race Camp.

In addition to the racing activity, Ashley Hagenow, the reigning Alice in Dairyland will be at the event, just one of three stops she’ll be making during the 11 days of racing.

"The Wilo Cedar Creek Classic is one more family-oriented event that aligns with our mission of having fun while impacting lives in Ozaukee County," said Mel’s Charities Executive Director Tom "Mel" Stanton.
