JoAnne Mary Vella, 78
JoAnne Mary Vella, of Cedarburg, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the age of 78 years.
JoAnne was born on December 29, 1945, in Milwaukee to the late Jack and the late LaVerne (nee Solomon) Salzer.
JoAnne enjoyed going to Las Vegas with her son, Robert, and has traveled to Hawaii and California. She loved spending time with her family, and having her daughter, Kelly’s home made spaghetti and meatballs among many other things. She also enjoyed when her son, Mike, would bring his crazy dog, Nacho for visits. Her sister, Kate would pick her up every night for Culver’s and go for a drive. Lastly her grandson, Nicholas who lit up her face any time he would visit. JoAnne had a best friend in every one of her family members.
JoAnne is survived by her sons, Mike Vella and Robert Vella,Ìý daughter, Kelly (Randy Bowman) Hnasko, grandson, Nicholas Hnasko, sister, Catherine Salzer, and her nephew, Brian Salzer. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, in Cedarburg. Interment immediately following the service at Resurrection Cemetery, in Mequon. A visitation will take place, on Friday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
