Patrick “Pat” James Nettesheim died unexpectedly in his home on April 19, 2024, in West Bend, WI at the age of 65.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Elaine Helen Nettesheim and John Clement Nettesheim; children Kayla (fiancé David) Nettesheim and Jenna Nettesheim; mother of his children (Jackie Lord); his siblings Sandy Mueller, Mary Nettesheim, Peggy (Mike) Jacklin, Mike Nettesheim, and Bonnie (Dave) Zenda; nephews and nieces, J.J. (Sally) Miller, Cody (Erika) Mueller, Scott Nettesheim, Justin (Kari) Jacklin, Dana (fiancŽ, Mark) Jacklin, Shannon (fiancé, Nick) Jacklin, Luke Nettesheim, Kyle Nettesheim, Ashley Zenda, and many more great-nieces and -nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many more loved ones.

Patrick was born on August 26, 1958, in Hartford, WI to Elaine (nee Menzel) and John Nettesheim. He graduated from Slinger High School in 1976. He went on to work at Harvestore until beginning his longtime career at Weasler Engineering. Pat worked as a machine operator from 1993 until retiring in February of 2024.

Pat had a love for the outdoors that started at a young age while working on the family farm. He also loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed taking long walks while spotting deer in the field. His daughters have fond memories of spending time with him in his shed while he worked on rebuilding his GTO or simply “putzing.” He liked helping his girls create projects out of wood and creating log benches for them to relax on under a tree or around the campfire. He enjoyed taking care of his tomatoes for his famous chili. His girls loved waking up to the smell of bacon and yolky eggs that he would cook them on Saturday morning. He loved visiting with his parents and gathering for family corn cookouts.

You could find Pat listening to the Brewers on the radio while he sat outside in his lawn chair or yelling “Go, go, go” at the TV anytime the Packers were playing. He found joy playing with his grand pup, Shira, and feeding Holly, the stray neighborhood cat.

Pat found humor in the simple things and made those around him smile. He will always be remembered for his warm heart and willingness to lend a hand to friends and neighbors.

Pat will be dearly missed by all who loved him. May he rest in peace.
