Lois Ann Helen Raddemann

Lois Ann Helen Raddemann (nee Maas), age 93, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, in the comfort of her home within love and care of her family.

Lois was born September 6, 1930, in Hartford, WI, to Esther (nee Falkenthal) and Herbert ÒStonyÓ Maas. She graduated from Hustisford High School, class of 1948, where she was 1 of 15 students. She was united in marriage to Edward Ralph Raddemann on May 28, 1955.

Lois’ very first job was the phone line transfer operator in Hartford. She had a long career in town as well as a bookkeeper for JCPenney’s, retiring after 25 years.Ěý Lois was very active in the community, selflessly giving her time to many organizations, including the blood bank for over 40 years and the Women’s Auxiliary and VFWĚý for 50 years where she ran bingo, organized and sold poppies, and helped cook and serve lunches. Her dedication to volunteering earned her recognition of several awards, which included Hartford’s Volunteer of the Year and being named grand marshal of Hartford’s Memorial Day Parade.

Lois enjoyed monthly lunches with her friends and loved shopping. Lois will be remembered fondly of her strength, energy, never complaining, and her kindness. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her role as Grandma and NaNa, creating many memories, never missing special events and weekly adventures.

Lois was loving mother of Rick (Kim) Raddemann and Tracy (Todd) Keener; cherished grandma of Rosalee (fiancé, William Meyer) Raddemann, Rashelle (Zach) Christopherson, and Brittany (Ryan) Faust; and treasured NaNa of Kade, Berkley, Lydia, and Myles and step-great-grand-NaNa of Taylor. She is further survived by many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Edward; sister, Wanda (Alton) Soldner; and best friends, Donald and Donna Hagen.

Funeral services for Lois will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1001 Center Street, Hartford, WI 53027, with the Rev. Aaron Steinbrenner officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Immediately following service, procession to Lois’ committal will be led to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford, WI.
